A BAPTISM

how to arrange

A Christening (also called Baptism) can take place in any of our three church buildings. They take place either during the main morning service, or in a separate service at Noon, or at another agreed time.  Christening is a welcoming of new members in to the Christian faith, often (but not always) as small children, where their parents and godparents will speak for them and make promises on their behalf. Baptisms are happy occasions where there is a sense of meeting God in an atmosphere of celebration and thanks.

Some families request a service of thanksgiving for the birth of a child, and this can be in preparation for a Baptism, or instead of one.

Contact one of the clergy to arrange a baptism.
